Anybody who thinks Lady Gaga, thinks crazy hair dos and with good reason. As much as the ‘Paparazzi’ diva is recognized for her fantastic rhythm and lyrics, she has drawn the attention of the paparazzi much more often for slamming conventional fashion and doing her own thing.

Her music is an inspiration for her ever growing fan base, but then, so are her fashion statements!

Growing trends see youngsters sporting styles similar to their music icons. They are often so enamored by their icons that their clothing sense, no matter how bizarre and impractical, becomes like an apparel bible to them! Popular trends also induce certain coolness to the person’s image.

Guys with baggy t-shirts and basketball shoes are spotted on every crossing nowadays and their inspiration is the one and only 50 Cent. Some of them even sport his signature gold chain with the dangling dollar sign. The fake gold chains are much more common with the prices of real gold soaring higher than the pocket money of most of the followers of this trend.

It also looks like the marketing giants in the apparel industry such as Levis and Adidas have caught a whiff of this growing trend because oversized white t-shirts can be easily bought from any of the city’s big malls. And once the trend fades, the t-shirts will definitely fit their dads.

Cashing in on these privileges are stars such as Bryan Adams and Victoria Beckham, who have their own lines of clothing. So the next time you think you see Eminem on the road, stop and really look hard, because underneath those clothes might be your friend, walking in Eminem’s shoes!
